Placitas WILD Horses

Flicka, our brave golden brown mare with a beige mane, is a member of Bella's group. We have temporarily separated her from the rest due to her hoof problems. With a monitored diet and a limited range, she is slowly beginning to walk better. She certainly misses her group and can be quite loud when she wants something, neighing repeatedly and stomping her feet, she is very easy to hear from all the way across the preserve, often starting a round of various noises across the horses. She is a stubborn girl and is hard to move when she does not want to but is incredibly sweet. She took an immediate liking to our young girl Butterscotch and the two have actually become quite close.
